Application & Interview Process

Please call 503-231-0383, ext. 15, or email us at info@mcyoga.com to set up an appointment with Ruth Knight, director of the teacher training.  She’ll give you a tour of The Movement Center and talk with you about our program.  Together you’ll decide if it’s a good fit.

When you come for your interview, please be prepared to answer these questions:

1. Why do you want to teach yoga?

2. What attracts you to our program?

3. What is your yoga and meditation practice like?

The next step is to attend a yoga class so we can assess your asana practice.  If your practice looks fine, the final step is to submit your application with deposit, and you’re in!

Filling out your application form
When it’s time to fill out your application, you can fill out your application online, paying through Google Checkout with either Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.
Or, if you’d prefer mail your application or drop it off in person, here’s a printable application form.
