Family Yoga
Fuel enthusiasm in your family for a yoga practice together!
We’ll build our family workshop together using stories, fun group and partner yoga activities, music, and more. Although this program is geared toward you and your children ages 5-9, older and younger children are welcome with your supervision.

About Nan LeRoy
Nan LeRoy is a licensed professional counselor who has worked with children in both Oregon and Washington using play therapy for 20 years. Nan is a mother of three and has five grandchildren. Nan currently works as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant and in that capacity consults with parents and childcare centers. Nan has been a meditation teacher in the Portland area for 15 years, and a yoga practitioner for over 12 years. Nan completed the Yoga teacher training at the Movement Center in May 2011.

This Beginners Yoga Immersion will introduce you to the basic building blocks of a yoga practice, and the five levels that serve as guidelines to optimize your experience of yoga practice.
By learning to move with,
1) Alignment of the body,
2) Conscious breathing,
3) Inner awareness,
4) Release,
you can naturally begin to experience
5) Presence, or a change of state.
Once you understand how to use these tools, you can always bring them to your yoga practice to experience a greater flow of energy and sense of well-being. Register online here.
